Terms & Conditions

Please read through the terms and conditions thoroughly before enrolling. When enrolling as a student of Pilates Lane, you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out on the Pilates Lane website www.pilateslane.com.au.

General Terms & Conditions

1. The 9 classes/3 weeks Introductory Offer (valid for 21 days) is only available to brand new clients. You can only purchase the introductory offer once. The introductory offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking. Clients found to be buying the 9 classes/3 weeks Intro Offer more than once will be suspended and charged any additional class costs they may have incurred.

2. A minimum of two people is required for a class to proceed. You will be contacted via text 2 hours prior to the start of class should it need to be cancelled and your session returned.

3. Our 3 hour cancellation policy is in place so all Pilates Lane members have a chance to attend classes. You can cancel a class the same way you booked in. We do not accept cancellations via email, phone or social media messages.

  • Cancellations made more than 3 hours before class will get the session back

  • Late cancellations made less than 3 hours before class will forfeit the session on per class services, unlimited services will be charged $8 to your account

  • No-shows and absences will forfeit the session per class services, unlimited services will be charged $15 to your account

  • Being late is considered a no-show

  • Members on 2, 3, and 4 classes/week will loose their session, and will be able to rebook additional session if exceeding their quota/week. Additional session will be charged $15 to your account.

4. Payment must be made prior to booking. To book into a class you must either have pre-purchased sessions in your account or pay at the time of booking in the studio.

5. Arriving at the start of class or after is considered late. If you’re late you forfeit the session and are considered a No Show. Empty reformers, Chairs, or Mats at the start of class will be given to our waitlisted or walk-ins clients.

6. Owners and/or teachers reserve the right to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons; and owners and/or teachers reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance.

7. If a class you want is full, you can sign up for the waitlist. Should a place become available you will receive either an email or text to let you know you got into class. If you do not respond to the text/email we assume you’re coming and the system will automatically add you in.Our cancellation policy is the same for waitlisted classes. Remove yourself from a waitlist class if you know you cannot attend so the next person on the list moves up.

8. Class Packs are valid for 12 months from purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and can be extended if you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. 

9. Monthly Passes are valid for 30 days, 3 Month passes are valid 90 days, 6 Month passes are valid 180 days all from the date of purchase. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and can be extended if you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. Check with the management team for exceptional circumstance suspension.

10. Sessions are not transferrable to another individual and cannot be used by another person. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the session, they will be asked to create an account and purchase their own sessions.

11. Gift cards can be used for classes and product at Pilates Lane. They are not redeemable for cash and are non transferable. Pilates Lane does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on Gift Cards for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final and in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

12. Pilates Lane Special offers and promos have their own terms of use. Check on purchase.

13. Pilates Lane guarantees your pricing option for 12 months. Memberships can incur an increase of 4% per year to maintain Consumer Price Index after a 12 month period.

14. GST is currently included in the pricing of all our services

Membership terms & conditions

Includes:

1. All Memberships operate on a 7 day autopay schedule from the credit card/bank details stored in Mindbody (a secure system). Payment will continue unless notified (see Termination Policy below).

2. Memberships will continue with scheduled autopays unless Pilates Lane is notified of a termination request in writing (see Termination Policy below).

3. Memberships may be subject to price increase, but will be communicated in writing 4 weeks prior to any change.

4. Unlimited membership will incur a $15 No Show fee for all classes they’re marked absent for and a $8 Late Cancel fee for all classes cancelled within 3 hours of class. 

5.Memberships 2, 3 and 4 Classes / Week can purchase additional sessions at $15 per class. This is the responsibility of the member to arrange prior to taking class via purchasing individual sessions. Additional sessions will be valid for 7 days from purchase. If during the weekly cycle, an extra session is taken and shows as unpaid or owing $15 will automatically be charged to the payment method on file per session booked.

6. Failed payment of membership: On the fifth day of payment failing to process all booked classes will be cancelled and the Membership will be placed on hold. The failed Membership charge, plus any outstanding fees will be processed as a debit on the clients MindBody account, to be balanced within 7 days or the account will be terminated.

Membership Suspension

Suspensions can be made for a minimum of 7 days and within your weekly cycle. This ensures that the correct measures are put in place to cease credit card payments that are scheduled for the given period. Email challengeyourself@pilateslane.com.au with at least 7 days notice.

Don’t forget to cancel your booked classes to avoid no-show/absence fees. Your bookings are your responsibility.

Suspension can only be for a maximum of 5 consecutive weeks, any longer period will need to be justified by a medical condition. Membership on hold for unknown reasons will be terminated.

Membership termination

1. All memberships can be cancelled with 4 weeks active notice. Email challengeyourself@pilateslane.com.au

2. In the case of long term or permanent injury or illness that prevents the use of our services, immediate membership termination will be permitted. Termination will take effect from the date we receive written confirmation from a medical doctor.

3. Pilates Lane may terminate a membership without notice for inappropriate, offensive or illegal behaviour, as determined by us, which occurs on our premises or is directed at our staff or other members.

upgrade/downgrade

You can change your membership level at anytime. Email challengeyourself@pilateslane.com.au 7 days in advance to change your membership. Note: membership cannot be changed on termination notice.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds will only be given in line with Queensland Consumer Affairs regulations. Refunds for any circumstance unforeseen by or external to the business will incur a processing fee of $5 per transaction being refunded.

Refunds are processed directly to your nominated financial institution minus the processing fee/s.

Class packs or Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Activation dates can only be extended for medical reasons.

Sessions are unable to be transferred to another person or location.

If a purchased item is faulty or damaged, at no fault to the customer, a full refund via bank deposit or replacement at the cost of the business will be offered.

If a purchased item is the incorrect size, a replacement item can be purchased at cost to the consumer. No exchange or return on grippy socks.
